Stockholm, Sweden - Starting January 2021, Dr. Per Olof Arnäs will join Einride in the role of Senior Logistics Expert. Dr. Arnäs has a PhD in Logistics, and is currently senior lecturer and vice head of department at Chalmers University of Technology in Sweden.

Per Olof has been working with, in and around the transportation industry since the late 1980s in various roles. He did his PhD in logistics in 1997 and has, according to his family, an unhealthy obsession with the digital development of the transportation sector. 

“The world is ready for the next evolutionary step in freight transport. The rapid technological development that we see in other sectors have until recently been notably absent from the very traditional freight market. This is about to change and Einride is poised at the very front of this revolution,” says Per Olof Arnäs. “And, at the end of the day it all comes down to two things - sound business and doing the right thing for future generations.”

As a researcher his focus has been how transport operators can improve efficiency and effectiveness using digital technology. He is also the founder and host of the podcasts Logistikpodden and Logistics Rocks where he since 2014 interviews the stars of the logistics industry.
